Kaye and her drawing

This project is so detailed and Kaye spent many hours getting it just right.

Student Project Example   Kathy
Oil Painting

Wow, this is her first painting and she did a great job.

Student Project Example   TIna
Oil Painting

Tina painted this image of her dad shortly after he passed. She is planning to give prints to family members as gifts. What a nice tribute to her dad.

Student Project Example   Kaye
Colored Pencil

Kaye created this as a gift for her friend who had just lost her precious dog. What a sweet image.

Student Project Example   Jane
Oil Painting

Jane changed this painting several times until it was just what she wanted. The style was something that she had seen and she applied it to her own photography.

Student Project Example   Pat
Colored Pencil

My students love bugs and Pat choose this beetle to draw from a great bug book that I have. She created a stunning image.

Student Project Example   Kali
Oil Painting

What a stunning image! Kali really worked hard to get all of the fine details just perfect.

Student Project Example   Tina
Oil Painting

Tina isn't afraid to try something new and she accomplishes what she sets out to do with flair.

Student Project Example   Jennifer
Oil Painting

Many students choose to paint images from books that I have and she captured this image with great technique.

Student Project Example   Maureen
Oil Painting

This is Maureen's first oil painting and I helped her finish it since it was a gift for her mother. She learned while going through her frustrations.

Student Project Example   Taylor
Oil Painting

This was her first oil painting in class and she took over a year to finish it. The time certainly paid off well. It is beautiful.

Student Project Example   Joni
Acrylic Painting

Jasmine is Joni's adorable dog who comes to class occasionally in the side-car of her motorcycle. This stylized painting is so fun and Jasmine has her doggles on!

Student Project Example   Chrysalis
Colored Pencil

Often the students choose a classic image to reproduce. She really captured the quality of the original and the style.

Student Project Example   Jean
Colored Pencil

This beautiful dog was a gift for a close friend of Jean's. The dog has passed and the photos were poor quality but Jean managed to pull it off.

Student Project Example   Hanna
Oil Painting

This was a really challenging project and only her second painting. She really learned to see shapes and values and fine details. She was very proud of herself.

Student Project Example   Elena
Drawing

Elena's first project was a drawing of her home in graphite. It turned out really well but I didn't get a very good photo.

Student Project Example   Doreen
Colored Pencil

Doreen's first colored pencil project is stunning.
