Winter 2015-2016 and the art just keeps getting better. There must be something about having fun while creating that just keeps the energy going.

It's getting difficult to find the words to express how talented and amazing my students are. Even beginners who have never drawn or painted are finding success and are so proud of what they accomplish. I'm so proud of them!

Student Project Example   Carol
Colored Pencil

The Howler monkey has so much expression. Whatever Carol does, it is full of color and detail. She is amazing!

Student Project Example   Pat
Oil Painting

Pat's very first painting is so beautiful. Wow, she did an excellent job.

Student Project Example   Kaye
Colored Pencil

The detail is incredible and realistic that it seems real. Kaye is meticulous in her work and it pays off,

Student Project Example   Sherry
Colored Pencil

I just don't know what to say. My students are to talented and work so hard. It's no wonder that they are often award winners. Sherry's tiger is stunning.

Student Project Example   Drew
Oil Painting

Drew is a young adult who has expanded her work and uses a pallet knife for texture and it is fabulous. I only wish that a photo could do justice to the texture that she creates in the fur.

Student Project Example   Eliza
Oil Painting

I just love mentoring young students who have so much talent. Eliza is 16 and paints with ease. The otter is adorable.

Student Project Example   Joni
Acrylic Painting

P Kitty has an attitude and Joni totally captured it in this contemporary painting. I wish that you could see all of the fun shapes in the fur. Outstanding!

Student Project Example   Jean
Oil Painting

Wonderful! The texture just doesn't photograph but it is so fun and colorful. Jean claimed to hate painting but I think that she changed her mind after creating this.

Student Project Example   Jessica
Colored Pencil

Jessica's first drawing is stunning. She is very detail oriented and that always pays off. What a beautiful image.

Student Project Example   Jeff
Oil Painting

Once again, Jeff has outdone himself. Every painting is so well done and interesting. He also is a great guy and we all enjoy him.

Student Project Example   Carol
Colored Pencil

Carol does drawings for friends and neighbors and as always they are wonderful. She has quite a gift!

Student Project Example   Doreen
Drawing

Doreen's first drawing is graphite and she really saw and captured the shapes and values. First projects are such a foundation for what is to come. Great job.

Student Project Example   Craig
Colored Pencil

Craig is my only student to work on a black board and that presents a challenge that is well worth it in the end. Once again, a fabulous image.

Student Project Example   Laura
Acrylic Painting

Laura uses lots of texture and great colors together to create her unique style of work. This cow is very creative and fun.

Student Project Example   Shari
Colored Pencil

There is so much detail that can't be seen but is wonderful. Shari created a brilliant image with a pastel background.

Student Project Example   Chrysalis
Colored Pencil

This drawing is from one of her favorite books and it is stunning. Touches of acrylic give it a glow.

Joni created this as a gift for her son. He loves it and it is no wonder that he does. How unusual and creative.

Student Project Example   Pat

Pat's second painting is dramatic and a gift for her husband. He loves it and so do I.

Student Project Example   Sonja

Another first painting. Wow! What a beautiful image that Sonja created.
