Spring 2010 and the artists get more creative every day!

Wonderful new paintings, drawing and sculpture from the greatest group of kids and adults.

Student Project Example   Kaye
Colored Pencil

This is the most beautiful cat and Kaye did an amazing job with it. She really caught the personality!

Student Project Example   Susan
Colored Pencil

Susan's second project is very well done. She is getting more comfortable with colored pencils.

Student Project Example   Jean
Sculpting

This is very whimsical and has so many different and fun details. Each little structure is unique and then Jean decided to sculpt her dog to place on the top. Very cute!

Student Project Example   Dani
Youth Sculpting

This is Dani's first project in clay. It is an elephant mother and calf. The finish makes it look like metal. Really adorable Dani.

Student Project Example   Emma
Youth Colored Pencil

Emma loves colorful scenes and always does an excellent job. Each of her drawings is very well executed.

Student Project Example   Darlene
Colored Pencil

The colors in this drawing are fabulous. Darlene loves flowers and each drawing is great but this one takes the cake.

Student Project Example   Dani
Youth Painting

The kids do such wonderful work. Dani loves to draw, paint and sculpt and does some really nice work.

Student Project Example   Carol
Colored Pencil

Carol created so many drawing for animal rescue groups to use for fundraising. This is her first bird and it is so incredible.

Student Project Example   Carol
Colored Pencil

Carol was commissioned to create this cat and the dog to the right. The photos were really poor but Carol managed to capture the personality. It didn't photograph well though.

Student Project Example   Carol
Colored Pencil

This dog and the cat on the left have 'passed on' so the photos were old. But Carol worked it out. They were photographed with her cell phone and the blue somehow appeared.

Student Project Example   Joan S.
in the Workshop

Joan played a trick on Diana, so Diana had fun with the payback. Joan hates the rooster that she made from clay so. . .

Student Project Example   Joan S.
in the Workshop

. . .Diana took the rooster and make 20 copies and we put them everywhere. What a fun bunch of people!

Student Project Example   Jim

Jim chooses really interesting subjects and this shows off his developing skills.

Student Project Example   Joan S.
Acrylic Painting

Joan has gained the confidence to let go and her new work is amazing and free. She finished this in three hours.

Student Project Example   Lorie
Oil Painting

This large painting of Lorie's kids is just incredible. She has a real gift and lots of determination.

Student Project Example   Joan S.
Acrylic Painting

Joan completed this in just one evening. Amazing! It's so fun to watch her work. See doesn't even begin with a pencil sketch.

Student Project Example   Joan S.
Acrylic Painting

Another of Joan's loose and free paintings. Wow has she broken through her fears or what? I wish I could bottle it and share her sense of freedom.

Student Project Example   Joan R. & Shaggy
Colored Pencil

Joan has a grooming salon and Shaggy was a recent customer. It looks as though they really bonded.

Student Project Example   Laura
Acrylic Painting

Laura just finished this contemporary painting of her dog Ruby. It is so adorable.

Student Project Example   Joan
Acrylic Painting

Joan's free and loose style worked extremely well with this painting. The colors are more vivid than the photo shows.
