When the painted guitar was complete, it was taken to an expert and many layers of clear varnish were applied to restore the black base and make the surface really smooth. The hardware was then attached.

Description:
The client brought a dress that his wife owns for the paisley pattern.The gloss surface was removed and the pattern was re-drawn and then transferred. Each color required many layers of paint. Gold accents were then added to compliment the new hardware.

The Asian symbol was an existing tattoo. The client provided samples of things that she likes. I designed the new tattoo to included the butterfly, tree frog, lotus blossom , flowers and mendi elements on the front of the tatoo. A full color drawing and a line drawing were provided to the tattoo artist.

The back side includes a dragonfly and more flowers and mendi elements. There is still some touch up that needs to be done by the tattoo artist, but overall it turned out really well and the client is very happy.
